2. JOB INFORMATION
Career level: Professional, Phase 2+
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Work location: HCMC, Vietnam
Salary: USD 1,500 – 1,800 gross
Responsibilities
a) Plan, prepare and review design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender document
b) Guide, oversee and manage a team of design engineers
c) Design and resolve all technical and engineering design issues of RC, Steel structure, Precast, Post-tensioned structures for medium and high-rise buildings, including residential, industrial and commercial buildings.
d) Design of temporary works for deep basement and pipe jacking eg. sheetpile, waler and struts, RC caisson, contiguous or secant bored piles, diaphragm wall, foundation, etc
e) Attending project meetings and liaison with Clients, Architects, Consultants and Contractors
f) Conversant with Euro codes and regulations
Requirements
Attributes
a) Highly organized and detail-oriented;

c) Abilities to work on demand;
d) Abilities to work independently as well as in teamwork.
Skills
a) Communication skills in English;
b) Proficiency with Engineering software (eg. Tekla, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Staad Pro, RAPT, etc) and Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Knowledge
a) Bachelor of Engineering/MSc / PhD in relevant engineering disciplines.
b) 3 to 8 years of post graduate experience working in a design consulting firm
c) Familiar with Euro codes and preferably with Singapore building regulations and Authorities requirements
