Qualified by Singapore’s Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), currently serves eldercare organizations across Singapore and is exploring expansion into Vietnam’s rapidly growing senior care market.

 

JOB INFORMATION

Job type: Full-time, 3 - 6 months

Work location: Vietnam (HCMC/ Hanoi/ Da Nang)

Job overview: We are establishing a Representative Office (RO) in Vietnam as the first step toward entering the Vietnamese senior care market. We are looking for a motivated intern to support this early-stage exploration by conducting market research, mapping the eldercare landscape, identifying potential partners, and helping to set up introductory meetings with key stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to be part of building something from the ground up in a high-growth, high impact sector.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Analysis:
    1. Research Vietnam’s eldercare ecosystem: government policies, existing programs (e.g., Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs), private care centers, and community-based senior services.
    2. Analyze demographic data on aging populations across key cities (HCMC, Hanoi, Da Nang) to identify priority markets.
    3. Map the competitive landscape: identify existing eldercare technology providers, home care services, and relevant social enterprises in Vietnam.
    4. Research regulatory requirements for foreign companies operating in Vietnam’s healthcare and social services sectors.
    5. Prepare market analysis reports and briefing documents for the leadership team.

B. Stakeholder Engagement & Meeting Coordination:

  1. Identify and compile a database of potential partners: government agencies (MOLISA, Ministry of Health, provincial Departments of Labour), NGOs, eldercare organizations, hospitals, and universities.
  2. Draft outreach communications (emails, introductory decks) in Vietnamese and English.
  3. Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings, site visits, and exploratory calls between leadership and Vietnamese stakeholders.
  4. Provide interpretation/translation support during meetings as needed Employee Engagement: Arrange birthday celebrations and company events.

C. RO Setup Support:

  1. Assist with administrative tasks related to establishing the Representative Office (liaising with local law firms, document preparation, government submissions).
  2. Research office space options, co-working spaces, and operational logistics.
  3.  Support any early-stage community engagement or pilot activities.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Attributes:

  1. Self – starter mentality: Able to work independently.
  2. Manage your own schedule.
  3. Take initiative in an unstructured environment.
  4. Based in Vietnam with a willingness to travel locally (within HCMC, Hanoi, or Da Nang) for meetings and site visits.

Skills:

  1. Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
  2. Proficiency with research tools, data analysis, and presentation software (Google Workspace, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  3. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable reports.
  4. Excellent communication skills and comfort reaching out to unfamiliar organizations and stakeholders.

Knowledge:

  1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Management, Gerontology, or a related field.
  2. Familiarity with Vietnam’s government structures, particularly MOLISA, Ministry of Health, or provincial-level agencies
  3. Experience or coursework in aging studies, geriatric care, public policy, or social enterprise.
  4. Previous internship or work experience in healthcare, technology, or NGO sectors.
